An Exploration with PJ and Sam

January 26th

In an attempt to locate these guys for photos, PJ, Sam and I set out on an ill fated adventure to Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

This is a hardcore industrial section of Brooklyn with quite a view of Manhattan.

When seen in proper lighting, even severe urban decay can be beautiful.

The same goes for graffiti.

After lots of cold tramping around nowhereland we all needed a beverage to fortify our spirits. We stopped in at Black Rabbit Bar on Greenpoint Ave. We were super jazzed to find out that their sign advertising "Make Out City" meant closed door booths with high walls and a button that produces a red light signaling you want service. Nice, eh? It was like some wild west saloon met a bizarre gentleman's club.

I look like I'm praying over my beer.

Later that night we had a few more beverages at the oldest continually running bar in the borough, The Brooklyn Inn.

We saw something quite modern and bizarre outside...

As these shots are a mixture from two photographers, click here for my full set and here for PJ's. Thanks for a fun day, boys. Come back and visit whenever you want!
