Shrimp Tempura Love

March 27th

It looks like I might get to Japan for work later this year so I've been on a mission to learn to love sushi. Chris and I went out tonight and ordered a few rolls to share. (This was much more appropriate then when I let Evan order a few months back.) My new love is shrimp tempura rolls. This was delicious, although it technically is cooked, so I suppose I'm cheating!

The whole time when I visited Japan I think I only had sushi once.

Bowls of noodles/noodle soups with a variety of meats, veggies, and fishes are way more common than sushi... at least where I was traveling.

Gyoza houses and noodle soup lunch counters seemed to be the diners of Japan.... but less greasy.
