Today was the first snowfall of the year. Instead of going out to play, I sat inside under piles of blankets watching movies. This is what my backyard looked like from the kitchen window.

Best I have ever seen that yard look. I love how snow can do that. Even the most ghetto areas of Baltimore looked pretty in the snow. I wonder if it could ever snow in Watts. Probably not. Although it snowed in Malibu last year. So anything is possible. You know there is a story that you and Emily told me once about something that your neighbor did (or rather what you overheard coming from the backyard) that still haunts me. I can't help but look at that yard and shudder/giggle.
Guess what? I'm 30. And I've decided to document this year of my life with at least one photo a day, every day, for 365 days. Know what else? I'm going to share these photos with you, yes YOU, glorious people of the internets! Hooray!
