One of the best things in New York is unexpected public art. On my way to a really boring work function with a bunch of republicans, I was delighted to discover the Lever Building. They have this disturbing sculpture, Virgin Mother, by Damien Hirst and several totally rad foil creations by Tom Friedman in the lobby.
