Emily got discount tickets to a benefit concert at Carnegie Hall. Shawn Colvin, Aimee Mann, Joshua Radin and others were on the bill. I was totally on board.

After we arrived, the Playbill told me it was also a tribute to the song writing duo of Elton John and Bernie Taupin. Despite the caliber of the artists, after an hour of I'm Still Standing and Sacrifice we both agreed it sounded like bad Elton John karaoke. We snuck out just as a xylophone jazz guy took the stage! Good timing!
